Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Degree in Culinary Arts preferred
  • Minimum five years culinary management experience
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Knowledge of HACCP and food safety regulations
  • Experience with purchasing and inventory control
  • Proficiency in financial reporting and budgeting
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs
  • Commitment to ethical conduct and integrity
  • Flexible to work various shifts as necessary

Job Qualifications

  • Degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent professional experience preferred
  • Five years progressive culinary management experience
  • Self-starter with ability to multitask and innovate
  • Ability to maintain positive attitude under pressure and motivate team
  • Passion for excellence
  • Knowledgeable on HACCP controls and proper food storage and use
  • Experience in purchasing, food storage and sanitation
  • Experience with P&L and financial reporting
  • Knowledge of budgets, labor costs, inventory controls
  • Strong leadership, coaching and training skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and POS systems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional business etiquette and client relations
  • Ability to lift, bend and carry up to 40 lbs
  • Knowledge of safe and sanitary food handling principles
  • High standards of personal integrity and ethical behavior
  • ServSafe or Department of Health certification a plus

Job Duties

  • Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws
  • Participate in employee meetings and training programs
  • Conduct safety, sanitation and maintenance programs
  • Maintain food cost while ensuring quality standards
  • Maintain an active role in managing team developments
  • Manage purchasing and inventory controls
  • Perform related duties and special projects as assigned
