Job Requirements
- At least five years of kitchen management or executive chef experience
- Experience in high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant settings
- Current ServSafe certification
- Ability to manage and develop a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to plan and manage budgets
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Availability to work in a fast-paced and demanding entertainment center environment
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or culinary degree preferred
- Five plus years of kitchen management or executive chef experience
- Experience in high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant venue required
- Extensive experience in banquet style events
- Experience managing and developing teams
- Current ServSafe certification required
- ServSafe instructor certification or ability to be certified preferred
Job Duties
- Adhere to the company’s mandated food and beverage menu and purchasing programs
- Maintain budgeted revenue, costs of sales, labor, supplies, and operating cash flow related to food operations
- Review monthly profit and loss statements and make necessary adjustments
- Work with Operations and Sales teams to plan, supervise, and execute all events, including food preparation, service, and cleanup
- Assist with cooking when needed
- Estimate food consumption and make purchases according to the specified food program
- Schedule staff efficiently to accommodate shifts in business volume
- Recruit, hire, train, and retain kitchen staff
- Develop key staff including sous chefs and lead cooks
- Ensure product quality, freshness, and presentation meet company standards
- Supervise preparation, portioning, garnishing, and storage of all food
- Manage kitchen equipment maintenance
- Conduct sanitation audits and cleaning schedules to comply with health regulations
- Report critical issues to the General Manager
