Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in culinary arts or related field preferred
- minimum of 5 years culinary management experience
- strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- physical ability to stand and perform kitchen duties for extended hours
- proven ability to lead and motivate a team
- proactive recruiting and staff management skills

Job Duties
- Consistently offers professional, engaging, and friendly service
- oversee daily operations of the kitchen department including banquets, outlets, in-room dining, staff cafeteria, and stewarding
- develop and prepare creative menus balancing guest requests and food quality
- maintain food and beverage standards using standardized recipes and safe handling practices
- monitor inventory levels, control food costs, and implement promotional initiatives to optimize profitability
- use labor management tools to set and monitor staffing levels and prepare weekly schedules
- ensure performance management and training occur timely
- participate in operational meetings and contribute to capital projects
- promote teamwork within the kitchen and maintain strong interdepartmental relationships
- respond to food-related feedback and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
