Job Qualifications
- At least 7 years of progressive culinary experience
- minimum 3 years in a leadership role at upscale, high-volume restaurants or members clubs
- success in recruiting and developing high-performing kitchen teams
- strong background in modern, ingredient-driven cuisine and seasonal menu development
- exceptional communication and leadership skills
- proficiency in inventory, ordering, and kitchen financial administrative tasks
- ServSafe or equivalent Food Handler's Certification
- comfortable with kitchen technology such as Toast POS and Microsoft Office
- culinary degree or equivalent professional training preferred but not required
Job Duties
- Oversee daily culinary operations across two kitchens
- implement kitchen programs, systems, and routines
- drive culinary research and development
- hire and train kitchen staff
- manage inventory and food cost
- maintain equipment and facilities
- ensure outstanding service to members and guests
- lead a team of over 20 chefs and cooks
- manage scheduling and labor budgets
- create recipe books and conduct staff training sessions
- collaborate on menu concept development and testing
- monitor food quality and daily prep standards
- manage kitchen checklists including opening, closing, prep, and cleaning
- coordinate with leadership on financial forecasts
- maintain vendor relationships and accounts
- support service team for smooth operations
