Job Requirements

  • Must be willing to pass background check and drug screen
  • ServeSafe certified or willing to obtain
  • Willing to obtain Certified Dietary Manager certification within 12 months of hire
  • Minimum ten years experience in executive chef or sous chef role
  • Excellent management, interpersonal and communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum ten years experience as executive chef or sous chef in hotel, private club, fine dining restaurant or similar
  • Excellent management skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Team building skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Postsecondary courses in restaurant management, nutrition or related field preferred
  • Degree or certificate from culinary institute preferred
  • ServeSafe certified
  • Willing to obtain Certified Dietary Manager certification within 12 months of hire

Job Duties

  • Provide leadership in all kitchens and model hospitality culture
  • Coordinate food preparation for the entire community
  • Ensure recipes and standards are maintained
  • Produce the highest quality food products
  • Manage cooking and baking activities
  • Uphold dietary standards, sanitation, quality, and nutritional value of food
  • Oversee training and development of culinary personnel
  • Maintain a positive work environment for staff
