Job Requirements

  • Able to pass a background check and drug screen
  • ServeSafe Certification
  • willingness to obtain CDM certification within 12 months of hire
  • minimum of ten years experience as executive or sous chef in similar operation
  • excellent leadership and communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of ten years experience as an executive chef or sous chef in a hotel, private club, fine dining restaurant or similar operation preferred
  • excellent management, interpersonal, team building, and communication skills
  • post secondary courses in restaurant management, nutrition or related field preferred
  • degree or certificate from a culinary institute preferred
  • must be ServeSafe Certified
  • must have or be willing to obtain Certified Dietary Manager certification within 12 months of hire

Job Duties

  • Provide leadership in all kitchens and model our hospitality culture
  • coordinate overall food preparation for the entire community
  • ensure recipes and standards are maintained
  • produce the highest quality food products
  • oversee cooking and baking activities
  • enforce dietary standards, sanitation, quality, and nutritional value of food
  • supervise training and development of culinary personnel
  • maintain a positive work environment for staff
