Job Requirements

  • BS degree in Culinary Science or a related certificate is a plus
  • minimum of two years industry experience in supervisory culinary role
  • proven cooking and menu planning skills
  • ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to obtain and maintain security clearance
  • US citizenship
  • verification of employment eligibility in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a chef in a similar position preferably in a hotel setting
  • comprehensive understanding of various cooking methods regional cuisines ingredients equipment and procedures
  • minimum of two years of industry experience in a supervisory role within a recognized food service establishment
  • ability to handle emergency situations with accuracy and speed providing effective solutions
  • familiarity with industry best practices basic computational ability and basic computer skills
  • a BS degree in Culinary Science or a related certificate is a plus

Job Duties

  • Plan menus purchase ingredients prepare and serve meals for the primary residence ensuring all dietary requirements of family members are met
  • prepare meals for private dinners and special events held at the primary residence
  • provide on-call catering services as needed whether at the residence or at different venues
  • manage kitchen inventory and order supplies
  • ensure compliance with food health and safety standards
  • supervise kitchen staff and coordinate meal preparation
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and dining areas
