Job Requirements

  • Minimum of five years’ experience as an Executive Chef or Sous Chef in a hotel, restaurant, club, or similar institution
  • Hospitality minded
  • Commitment to excellence
  • Ability to work varied day and shift schedules
  • Must possess valid driver’s license
  • Must be ServSafe certified
  • Completion of golf cart training

Job Qualifications

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Solid mathematical background with understanding of measurements and conversions
  • Post-secondary courses in restaurant management, nutrition, or related field
  • Degree or certificate from a culinary institute preferred
  • ServSafe certified
  • Valid and active driver’s license
  • Successful completion of Cypress of Raleigh golf cart training

Job Duties

  • Coordinate overall food preparation, cooking, and baking activities
  • Ensure dietary standards and nutritional value of foods
  • Select, onboard, train, and develop new culinary associates
  • Maintain a positive and courteous work environment
  • Motivate and encourage creativity among staff
  • Monitor kitchen operations to meet quality standards
  • Manage inventory and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
