Job Requirements

  • Minimum 3+ years as Chef de Cuisine or Executive Chef
  • Culinary degree with 8+ years of industry and management experience
  • Food safety and Food Handlers certifications
  • Experience in upscale, fast-paced restaurant environments
  • Strong leadership skills with ability to teach and develop team members
  • Availability to work weekends and open hours
  • Ability to manage food costs and kitchen budgets
  • Passion for authentic Mexican cuisine

  • Knowledge of traditional Mexican cooking techniques

Job Duties

  • Oversee all kitchen operations and culinary activities in our bustling restaurant
  • Create and modify menus that highlight local, sustainable, and seasonal ingredients
  • Lead, inspire, and develop a talented culinary team
  • Maintain the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and safety
  • Collaborate closely with our General Manager to bring our restaurant vision to life
  • Develop standardized recipes that ensure consistent, exceptional quality
  • Manage food costs and kitchen budgets while maximizing profitability
  • Stay current with dining trends and techniques to keep our menu fresh and exciting
  • Oversee ordering, inventory, and storage of all food products
  • Ensure all health department and safety requirements are exceeded
