Job Requirements

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 2 years management experience
  • Minimum 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering, institutional services, or mall food courts

  • Strong culinary background with knowledge of current culinary trends
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Strong coaching and employee development skills
  • Passion for food and innovation

Job Duties

  • Be responsible for purchasing, menu compliance, inventory, food cost analysis and food production forecasting
  • Ensure Sodexo Culinary standards including recipe compliance and food quality are implemented
  • Develop and motivate team members to embrace culinary innovations
  • Ensure food safety, sanitation and workplace safety standard compliance
  • Use automated food inventory, ordering, production and management systems
  • Manage busy high-end catering including continental breakfasts to plated dinners
  • Foster a positive culture amongst the culinary team
