Job Requirements
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience
- minimum 2 years management experience
- minimum 1 year work experience in food or culinary services
- ServSafe certification
- ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience
- minimum 2 years management experience
- minimum 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts
- proven culinary leadership experience
- strong high-volume production and catering expertise
- ServSafe certification
- knowledge of NSLP guidelines preferred
- excellent food presentation and display of cooking skills
- ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- Lead daily culinary operations for high volume K12 breakfast and lunch programs
- oversee catering services and special events across the district
- execute menu planning, food preparation, and production standards
- support innovative programs including mobile food truck and summer feeding initiatives
- ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and Sodexo standards
- train, coach, and inspire culinary team members while supporting marketing and Chef in the Classroom initiatives
