Job Requirements

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience
  • minimum 2 years management experience
  • minimum 1 year work experience in food or culinary services
  • ServSafe certification
  • ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience
  • minimum 2 years management experience
  • minimum 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts
  • proven culinary leadership experience
  • strong high-volume production and catering expertise
  • ServSafe certification
  • knowledge of NSLP guidelines preferred
  • excellent food presentation and display of cooking skills
  • ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Lead daily culinary operations for high volume K12 breakfast and lunch programs
  • oversee catering services and special events across the district
  • execute menu planning, food preparation, and production standards
  • support innovative programs including mobile food truck and summer feeding initiatives
  • ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and Sodexo standards
  • train, coach, and inspire culinary team members while supporting marketing and Chef in the Classroom initiatives
