Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • minimum five years of progressively responsible administrative experience
  • proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Zoom
  • ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • strong organizational and time management skills
  • ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
  • familiarity with academic administrative environments preferred

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • minimum of two years progressively responsible administrative experience or five years of progressively responsible administrative experience
  • significant experience with Zoom and Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • familiarity with Adobe Acrobat preferred
  • excellent oral and written communication skills
  • excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • proficiency in word processing applications, spreadsheets, and databases
  • ability to work independently and as a team member
  • strong problem-solving skills

Job Duties

  • Manage calendar for the Associate Vice President of Finance and other executive leaders as required
  • schedule and coordinate meetings, conferences, and special events
  • coordinate travel arrangements as needed
  • serve as the primary point of contact for the Office of National Laboratories
  • triage emails and telephone calls to respond to inquiries
  • manage office supply inventory and execute expense reports
  • assume responsibility for a variety of special projects
  • provide general administrative support and backup assistance for other key staff
