The Executive Account Manager role at MGM Resorts International is a critical position within the company’s event management and sales team. Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • At least 1 year of prior relevant experience in special events, sales, production, entertainment, catering, or hospitality industry required
  • Strong communication skills

Job Duties

  • Foster relationships with clients, internal departments, vendors, catering, audiovisual, convention sales and services departments while managing and supporting all event solutions, timelines and logistics within client budget, time and venue constraints
  • Meet with clients during sales calls to drive revenue for the department and company and follow up with clients promptly
  • Act as the main point of communication between clients and all departments/vendors both in pre-planning and on-site
  • Lead and collaborate with teams internally and externally on-site during event installations and strikes
  • Participate in and lead critiques and final walkthroughs with clients, supporting necessary changes, additions, and removals
  • Reconcile financials post-event for billing purposes
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of MGM Resorts properties and Las Vegas venues including capabilities and opportunities
