We are currently seeking an Environmental Services Technician, commonly known as an EVS Tech or Environmental Aide, to join our dedicated team on a per diem (PD/PRN) basis. This vital role ensures the maintenance of a safe and hygienic environment by diligently cleaning and disinfecting patient rooms, operating rooms, and common areas. The primary objective is to prevent infection and guarantee the health and safety of patients, staff, and visitors alike. This position demands keen attention to detail, especially in handling waste disposal, restocking supplies, maintaining floors and surfaces, and responding promptly to urgent cleaning requirements. The EVS Tech role is essential to the hospital's overall infection control strategy and operational efficiency. This role requires availability during weekdays, including weekends, specifically from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM. As a per diem employment opportunity, the position offers flexibility to work as needed.
