Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • one to six months related experience and/or training
  • at least 21 years of age
  • ability to read, write and speak English
  • ability to tolerate cleaning chemicals without allergic reaction
  • ability to lift 75lbs or more
  • ability to manage several tasks during shift
  • ability to stoop, bend, reach and pull around casino and restroom areas

Job Qualifications

  • Must be able to read, write and speak English
  • prior custodial or housekeeping experience preferred
  • must be at least 21 years of age
  • must present a well-groomed appearance
  • high school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • able to tolerate cleaning chemicals and secondary smoke
  • able to lift 75lbs or more
  • able to stoop, bend, reach and pull

Job Duties

  • Maintain assigned areas
  • able to provide information and directions to inquiring guests
  • complete all tasks as assigned by supervisor
  • clean and sweep paper and debris off the floor
  • clean and maintain slot machines and stands
  • clean walls, stalls, shelving, telephones, brass rails, doors, glass, mirrors and any surface needing cleaning attention
  • clean and maintain cleanliness of restrooms
  • clean and refresh ashtrays and ash urns
  • restock with supplies (paper products) and chemicals in work area (as needed)
  • perform proper and trained cleaning procedures when blood borne pathogens are involved
  • clean and maintain areas as assigned by supervisor or manager
  • vacuum as assigned
  • remove trash as assigned
  • remove or transport items from one area to another as assigned
  • mop floors
  • must be able to operate vacuum cleaners or floor cleaning equipment (mop, broom etc.)
  • meet the attendance guidelines and adhere to departmental and company policies
