Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or four years' relevant work experience
- Minimum three years of leadership experience in hospital EVS service operations management
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to operate computer and database systems
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Willingness to perform on-call emergency services
- Commitment to uphold hospital mission and values
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Three years of leadership experience in hospital EVS operations management
- Proficiency in computer operation and database systems preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage budgets and resources effectively
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
- Experience coordinating teams and managing vendor relationships
Job Duties
- Provide leadership and oversight for EVS operations to ensure high cleanliness standards
- Keep Director informed on program efficiencies and challenges
- Attract, develop, and train staff to maintain program quality and growth
- Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, patient safety, and customer satisfaction
- Schedule and manage staff, including cross-training and attendance tracking
- Manage departmental budgets, supplies, and resources
- Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors
- Monitor and ensure proper handling of regulated medical waste
- Conduct daily rounds for environmental cleanliness and customer satisfaction
- Promote a culture of safety, hygiene, and employee engagement
- Conduct quality improvement initiatives including training, auditing, and inspections
- Supervise emergency on-call services when needed
- Utilize computer programs for reporting and communication
- Serve as Subject Matter Expert in EVS and regulatory compliance
