With a workforce of over 14,000 employees and serving two million patient encounters annually, LifeBridge Health is deeply committed to community-centered care and innovation. The organization fosters a culture of CARE BRAVELY, emphasizing compassion, courage, and urgency in all decisions to shape the future of healthcare. It is an inclusive employer that ensures nondiscrimination and equal treatment for all employees and patients regardless of race, color, national origin, age, disability, sex, sexual orientation, or gender identity.
The role focuses on Environmental Services (EVS) within the in-patient units at LifeBridge Health. The primary responsibility is to ensure the cleanliness and readiness of patient rooms, particularly by refreshing the rooms in the early evening to prepare them for patient rest. This involves daily cleaning of patient rooms throughout the campus, including trash removal, disinfecting surfaces, mopping floors, and cleaning bathrooms while strictly adhering to safety and disinfection protocols. The position also includes training and team development duties, supporting EVS leadership in executing improvement plans designed to enhance patient satisfaction and service excellence. The person in this role will monitor patient care units for cleanliness, lead terminal and high-profile cleaning processes, assist during peak times, and collaborate closely with clinical and facilities teams to maintain an optimal care environment. This position offers competitive compensation, inclusive of potential overtime, shift differentials, premium pay, and bonuses, along with comprehensive health benefits, free parking, wellness programs, and opportunities for professional growth including tuition reimbursement and advanced certification development. Candidates will find a collaborative and supportive work culture with access to advanced clinical education resources and practice councils, enabling them to work at the top of their license and contribute meaningfully to patient care excellence within the LifeBridge Health system.
