- One year of comparable experience
- Ability to provide cleaning and housekeeping services to designated hospital areas
- Ability to understand and communicate in written and spoken English

- Familiarity with cleaning equipment and hospital sanitation protocols
- Customer service skills
- Ability to follow safety and isolation procedures
Job Duties
- Demonstrates the WMH customer service values which are key in providing quality service to patients and customers
- Dust furniture woodwork equipment and dust mops floors
- Polishes and cleans fixtures in utility rooms and bathrooms
- Wet mopped rooms halls stairways and public areas
- Cleans vents fans and other equipment using vacuum machines
- Cleans fixtures tops or windows door frames and high areas using a ladder as required
- Gathers and disposes of trash and waste materials including medical waste
