Job Requirements
- previous housekeeping experience preferred
- previous experience buffing, burnishing, stripping and/or waxing floors preferred
- ability to stand for extended periods
- ability to lift and move equipment and supplies
- flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
- adherence to hospital policies and procedures
- commitment to patient confidentiality and safety
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous housekeeping experience preferred
- experience with floor care including buffing, burnishing, stripping, and waxing preferred
- ability to follow safety protocols and infection control guidelines
- good communication skills
- dependable and detail-oriented
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Duties
- clean and sanitize hospital rooms and common areas
- buff, burnish, strip, and wax floors
- dispose of waste and maintain cleanliness in all assigned areas
- ensure compliance with infection control and safety standards
- restock cleaning supplies and report maintenance issues
- assist with setting up rooms for patient admissions and discharges
- support hospital staff in maintaining a safe and orderly environment
