Job Requirements
- previous housekeeping experience preferred
- previous experience buffing, burnishing, stripping or waxing floors preferred
- ability to stand and move for extended periods
- capability to follow safety and infection control protocols
- willingness to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred
- experience with floor care techniques including buffing and waxing
- understanding of hospital cleaning protocols and safety standards
- ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- good communication skills and attention to detail
Job Duties
- clean and sanitize patient rooms and hospital areas to maintain hygiene standards
- buff, burnish, strip, and wax floors to ensure safety and visual appeal
- remove waste and manage disposal according to hospital protocols
- restock cleaning supplies and equipment for daily operations
- respond promptly to emergency cleaning requests in clinical areas
- follow all safety guidelines and infection control procedures
- collaborate with healthcare staff to minimize disruption during cleaning activities
