Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous housekeeping experience preferred
- Ability to operate floor care equipment
- Ability to follow instructions and cleaning schedules
- Availability to float between facilities as needed
- Physical ability to perform cleaning duties including lifting and standing for extended periods
- Basic English proficiency for communication
Job Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping experience preferred
- Experience buffing, burnishing, stripping and/or waxing floors preferred
- Ability to follow detailed cleaning procedures
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to float between facilities
- Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment
Job Duties
- Perform hospital cleaning duties such as cleaning patient and non-patient care areas according to schedule and approved procedures
- Transport and secure trash, biohazardous waste and soiled linen
- Operate equipment for hard surface and carpet floor care including buffing, burnishing, stripping and waxing
- Greet patients, families and staff to support a friendly healing environment
- Float between Southwest Healthcare Inland Valley Hospital and Rancho Springs Hospital as needed with proper orientation
- Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment in safe working order
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols
