Job Requirements
- Minimum of one year of experience as an environmental services worker
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts
- Physical ability to lift repeatedly up to 50 pounds
- Capability to stand and walk continuously for extended periods
- Capacity to perform repetitive movements such as twist, bend, stoop, kneel, and reach above shoulder level
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, stressful environment
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
Job Qualifications
- One year of experience as an environmental services worker
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to learn current and new computer applications and office equipment
- Demonstrates sound judgment, patience, and maintains a professional demeanor at all times
- Exercises tact, discretion, sensitivity, and maintains confidentiality
- Ability to analyze, organize, and prioritize work while meeting multiple deadlines
Job Duties
- Perform general cleaning and sanitizing tasks and services throughout assigned area
- Use cleaning cart to transport cleaning supplies
- Clean and disinfect bathrooms and showers as assigned
- Restock products as needed
- Vacuum and clean floors, rugs, furniture, and drapes
- Remove and deliver linens as needed
- Load washers and dryers and fold linen as needed
- Clean linen room as needed
- Place and neatly tuck clean sheets and blankets on beds and replace pillowcases as assigned
- Pick up and empty trash containers
- Perform other related duties as assigned
