Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Six months recent hospitality, commercial or healthcare housekeeping experience in lieu of high school diploma or GED
  • Three years hospitality, commercial or healthcare housekeeping experience
  • At least one year hard floor maintenance and restoration of commercial floor care
  • Ability to operate and maintain floor care equipment safely at all times
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Availability to work weekends, holidays, flexible hours, and overtime

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Six months of recent hospitality, commercial, or healthcare housekeeping experience in lieu of high school diploma or GED
  • Three years of hospitality, commercial, or healthcare housekeeping experience
  • At least one year of hard floor maintenance and restoration of commercial floor care
  • Ability to operate and maintain floor care equipment safely
  • Familiarity with PeopleSoft and personal computer skills
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision

Job Duties

  • Operate heavy floor care equipment such as high speed and low speed machines, walk behind and riding scrubbers, burnishers, extractors, and wet vacuums
  • Follow routine floor care and cleaning schedules
  • Respond to unscheduled tasks and project assignments as requested by management
  • Clean and maintain all areas of Harris Health System facilities
  • Ensure a safe environment for staff and visitors
  • Work independently and as part of a team
  • Adhere to safety protocols while operating equipment
