Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Six months recent hospitality, commercial or healthcare housekeeping experience in lieu of high school diploma or GED
- Three years hospitality, commercial or healthcare housekeeping experience
- At least one year hard floor maintenance and restoration of commercial floor care
- Ability to operate and maintain floor care equipment safely at all times
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Availability to work weekends, holidays, flexible hours, and overtime
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Six months of recent hospitality, commercial, or healthcare housekeeping experience in lieu of high school diploma or GED
- Three years of hospitality, commercial, or healthcare housekeeping experience
- At least one year of hard floor maintenance and restoration of commercial floor care
- Ability to operate and maintain floor care equipment safely
- Familiarity with PeopleSoft and personal computer skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
Job Duties
- Operate heavy floor care equipment such as high speed and low speed machines, walk behind and riding scrubbers, burnishers, extractors, and wet vacuums
- Follow routine floor care and cleaning schedules
- Respond to unscheduled tasks and project assignments as requested by management
- Clean and maintain all areas of Harris Health System facilities
- Ensure a safe environment for staff and visitors
- Work independently and as part of a team
- Adhere to safety protocols while operating equipment
