Job Requirements
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent or one year of professional housekeeping/EVS experience
- Read, write and speak English clearly
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- CA driver’s license for selected positions if required
- Proven communication skills and understanding of English
- Ability to work independently with little supervision
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, procedure manuals and correspondence
- Commitment to high levels of patient, visitor, employee and customer satisfaction
- Ability to display initiative and handle additional duties
- Capacity to multi-task and work quickly
- Willingness to mentor and teach peers basic skills and techniques
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent
- 1 year of professional housekeeping or environmental services experience preferred
- Ability to read, write and speak English clearly
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to multi-task and work at a rapid pace
- Demonstrated initiative and ability to handle extra duties as needed
Job Duties
- Work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Maintain a clean, sanitary, and attractive hospital environment
- Clean hospital facilities and change beds
- Remove trash and linen
- Move furnishings and set up conference rooms
- Perform cleaning related to patient transferring or discharge
- Mentor and teach basic skills to peers
