The Housekeeping role at PENN Entertainment offers an opportunity to join a fast-paced and fun environment where maintaining cleanliness and order is integral to enhancing the guest experience. This position involves cleaning various areas within casino and common spaces, including slot machines, public restrooms, offices, and restaurants. The housekeeper will be responsible for a wide range of cleaning duties such as vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, polishing furniture, and handling trash disposal efficiently and according to established guidelines. There is also an emphasis on safety, including the proper handling of biohazardous materials and operating cleaning equipment like vacuum cleaners and floor machines.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred but not required
- Ability to operate vacuum cleaners, floor machines, carpet extractors, mop, and broom
- Willingness to learn and follow directions
- Ability to perform duties with urgency
- Ability to maintain high energy
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively

Job Duties
- Clean slot machines, ash trays, slot bases, trash cans, restrooms, offices, public areas, windows and ledges, restaurants, lighting, walls, countertops, furniture, and decorative objects in the casino or common areas
- Vacuum carpet, sweep and mop tile floors, clean up spills
- Clean up biohazardous materials according to established guidelines
- Remove trash from trash containers and place into dumpsters
- Use cleaning solutions and equipment properly
- Replace toilet tissue and refill paper towel dispensers
- Clean and polish furniture, marble, brass fixtures, brass floor plates, entrance door brass, and kick door brass plates
- Clean escalators and elevators
- Know the locations of all casino facilities
- Straighten chairs as needed
- Remove glasses, cups, paper, and debris from assigned areas per procedure
- Adhere to all regulatory, departmental, and company policies and procedures
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Maintain strict confidentiality in all company matters
