This position is for a Per Diem Environmental Services Technician at Sutter Solano Medical Center. As an essential member of the environmental services team, the successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, attractive, and safe environment within the medical center’s assigned areas. This role involves performing a diverse range of cleaning duties including patient rooms, offices, hallways, and other facility spaces to ensure patient safety and comfort through strict adherence to sanitization standards and hospital policies. The Environmental Services Technician will be skilled in handling various cleaning equipment such as mechanical floor cleaners, buffers, vacuums, washers, and dryers. The technician ensures effective room setups, manages trash and linen removal promptly, and distributes supplies to different departments efficiently while maintaining proper stock levels. Communication skills are essential to build cooperative relationships with peers, supervisors, patients, and healthcare staff, enabling a team-oriented atmosphere focused on operational excellence.
