Booz Allen places a high priority on fostering an inclusive and supportive work environment, encouraging growth, creativity, and meaningful impact through collaboration and dedication to mission-driven work.

Within this dynamic and respected establishment, the role of Events Specialist is pivotal in amplifying the organization's outreach and influence. The Events Specialist will manage end-to-end event planning and execution, contributing directly to the advancement of organizational goals and enhanced stakeholder engagement. This role involves organizing conferences, executive summits, industry meetings, and workshops that not only elevate the company’s reputation but also ensure that connections with clients, partners, and stakeholders align precisely with strategic priorities.

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $55,200 to $126,000 annually, reflecting the candidate's experience, skills, and education. The Events Specialist is expected to demonstrate exceptional organizational skills and a deep understanding of event logistics, including venue sourcing, budget management, vendor coordination, and onsite execution. Beyond logistics, the specialist develops compelling event themes, agendas, and marketing campaigns that effectively communicate event value and stimulate participation across diverse audiences.

In addition to crafting impactful events, the role emphasizes collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure all activities support the broader mission and strategic initiatives of Booz Allen Hamilton. As part of the team, the Events Specialist will also produce pre-event guides and marketing outreach materials, facilitating optimized attendee experience and engagement. Creativity and business acumen are crucial in this role, enabling the specialist to solve challenges under pressure and adjust strategies for maximum impact.

The role requires a commitment to travel for up to 50% of the time, reflecting the in-person engagement necessary to ensure event success across various locations. Candidates must be able to obtain a Secret security clearance, which underscores the importance of trustworthiness and compliance within this position. Educationally, a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Public Relations, Communications, or a related field is mandatory, ensuring a foundational knowledge base for managing complex event projects.

Candidates with experience in government, defense, or military event planning will find their background particularly valuable, along with those skilled in using marketing tools and event management platforms such as Mailchimp, Salesforce, Eventbrite, Social Tables, or Cvent. Preferred qualifications also include knowledge of contract and procurement processes relevant to event planning and possessing a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation or equivalent certification.

At Booz Allen Hamilton, employees benefit from a comprehensive benefits package that supports professional development and personal well-being, including health and life insurance, retirement plans, paid leave, and tuition assistance. The company cultivates a people-first work culture, adaptable to remote, hybrid, or onsite roles, fostering collaboration with flexibility. Booz Allen also maintains strong policies on non-discrimination, ethical AI use throughout the hiring process, and a rigorous identity verification protocol to protect candidates and the integrity of recruitment.

This opportunity invites driven, resourceful, and strategic event professionals to join a leader in the consulting industry and contribute meaningfully to impactful events that drive collaboration, innovation, and organizational growth.
