This role involves working closely with group coordinators and hosts to ensure seamless event receptions, conducting thorough review and analysis of banquet event orders, and addressing guests' specific needs related to event organization, timelines, buffet setups, and food stations. The position is pivotal to delivering quality banquet services by fulfilling all special preparations and verifying compliance throughout the event. Candidates will uphold company safety policies, report maintenance and safety hazards, and complete all mandatory safety training. Personal appearance and uniform standards must be professional and neat. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least one year of related work experience
  • No supervisory experience required
  • No licenses or certifications required
  • Ability to lift, move, and transport objects up to 25 pounds without assistance
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for prolonged periods
  • Ability to read and visually verify information
  • Ability to navigate confined, narrow, or elevated spaces
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally by phone and in person

Job Duties

  • Meet with group coordinators or hosts before receptions to ensure all preparations are agreed upon
  • Read and analyze banquet event orders to gather guest information and determine appropriate organization and timelines
  • Attend to and strive to fulfill all special banquet event preparations
  • Follow up on special banquet preparations to ensure compliance
  • Comply with all company safety policies and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards
  • Maintain professional and neat appearance and uniform
  • Support coworkers and treat them with dignity and respect
  • Perform other reasonable tasks as requested by supervisors
