Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year of related work experience
  • Ability to perform physical activities including standing, walking, lifting up to 25 pounds
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Ability to maintain professional appearance and confidentiality
  • Willingness to perform additional duties as assigned

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • At least 1 year of related work experience
  • No supervisory experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols

Job Duties

  • Meet group coordinator/host(ess) prior to functions to make introductions and ensure arrangements are agreeable
  • Read and analyze banquet event orders to gather guest information and determine proper set up and timelines
  • Respond to and fulfill special banquet event arrangements and follow up to ensure compliance
  • Follow all company safety and security policies and report accidents or unsafe conditions
  • Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional while maintaining confidentiality
  • Welcome and acknowledge guests, anticipate and address their service needs with genuine appreciation
  • Inspect tools, equipment, and event setups for defects or issues and perform physical tasks as required during shifts
