Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, hospitality or related field or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of event planning experience
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel and PowerPoint
  • experience managing budgets and project plans
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • keen attention to detail and follow-up skills

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, hospitality or related field or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years in an event planner-oriented position
  • proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Office
  • experience in budget and planning
  • experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and adjusting to changing responsibilities and priorities
  • excellent communication skills
  • keen attention to detail and strong follow-up and follow-through abilities

Job Duties

  • Plan and execute events that support the goals of the enterprise
  • ensure successful execution of event from start to post-event evaluations
  • plan and execute events such as marketing and sales conferences, trade shows and customer related events
  • direct logistics including registration and attendee tracking, presentation and materials support and pre- and post-event evaluations
  • procure vendor services
  • work with facility, exhibit set-up, equipment and catering requirements
  • provide on-site event support
  • research potential event locations and evaluate alternatives
  • prepare and track budgets, provide periodic progress reports for each event project
  • conduct post-event evaluations to determine how future events could be improved upon
  • regularly exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of job duties
