Job Description

Northman Beer & Cider Garden, Piccadilly Pub, and Piccadilly Market are vibrant, dynamic venues located in Lincoln Square and Lincoln Park. These concepts are well-known for crafting unique experiences that combine great food, exceptional beverages, and welcoming atmospheres tailored for a diverse clientele. Each venue prides itself on fostering a community-focused, guest-first mindset while delivering exceptional hospitality. Northman Beer & Cider Garden offers an inviting outdoor setting perfect for enjoying craft beverages, Piccadilly Pub presents a traditional yet modern pub environment ideal for both casual dining and private gatherings, and Piccadilly Market provides a versatile space for both shopping and hosting curated events. Together, these venues create a harmonious group dedicated to crafting memorable experiences through innovative events and exceptional service.

The Private Events Manager role is a multifaceted leadership position responsible for driving private and programmatic event revenue across all three venues. This employment opportunity combines sales leadership, client relationship management, and hands-on event execution to ensure every event exceeds expectations and aligns with each brand's guest experience. The Private Events Manager will work in close partnership with the Director of Operations, Ownership, and onsite management teams to secure profitable events and continuously seek efficiencies and areas for growth by leveraging data and client feedback.

This position is particularly suited for a highly organized, sales-driven, and hospitality-focused professional, ideally with a proven track record in managing events through the TripleSeat CRM system. The role demands a proactive approach to selling event spaces, crafting compelling event packages and minimums that maximize revenue without compromising guest satisfaction. The successful candidate will be expected to actively generate new business by responding to inbound leads and proactively identifying potential clients while maintaining strong relationships with corporate, social, and repeat customers.

In addition to sales, this role encompasses the full lifecycle of event management, from initial inquiry to on-site execution and post-event follow-up. The Private Events Manager will ensure smooth and professional event delivery by coordinating logistics with multiple teams including kitchen, bar, vendors, and onsite managers, while maintaining brand standards throughout. Regular onsite presence during events, especially major ones, is a key component of this role.

Furthermore, the Private Events Manager will oversee all programmatic and in-house events, such as seasonal celebrations and brand-driven experiences like St. Patrick's Day, Oktoberfest, and unique tasting events. This involves collaborating across operations, beverage, culinary, and marketing teams to develop event concepts, packaging, and promotion strategies that support business goals.

The role offers an exciting chance to influence and grow a diverse and evolving private events program across multiple unique concepts, contributing directly to revenue growth and enhanced guest experiences. Compensation includes a base salary plus commission, reflecting the performance-driven nature of the position. This opportunity is ideal for an ambitious professional eager to lead and innovate within a thriving hospitality group.
