Job Description
TEAM is an award-winning experiential marketing agency that specializes in developing and executing innovative marketing campaigns rooted in strategy, insights, and years of industry learning. Successfully partnering with leading brands and top-tier talent, TEAM creates unforgettable experiences that inspire and engage consumers at critical points of contact. The company prides itself on its highly collaborative, energetic, and inclusive culture, fostering an environment where creativity, passion, and hard work come together to deliver exceptional results. With a dynamic presence and robust digital footprint across various social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, TEAM is dedicated to pushing the boundaries of what marketing can achieve by crafting memorable moments that resonate deeply with audiences.
The role of Events Manager at TEAM is pivotal to the success of one of the company’s most visible regional programs. This position focuses on overseeing B2B event programs specifically within the enterprise technology sector, including responsibilities for regional conferences, partner summits, and executive briefings. This is a comprehensive leadership role that entails managing the full event lifecycle—from initial planning through on-site execution, reporting, client alignment, and post-event analysis. The Events Manager is not merely a coordinator but a strategic orchestrator who ensures that all aspects of the program—from people and processes to performance metrics—are flawlessly executed to deliver superior B2B event experiences in-market. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with various stakeholders including clients, vendors, venues, and internal teams to produce high-impact events that align with the broader marketing strategy.
The Events Manager will take full ownership over event execution duties such as vendor contract negotiations, logistics management, onsite support, and virtual event operations, including technical rehearsals and digital booth management for hybrid event formats. The position demands excellence in operational control and the ability to maintain calm and manage challenges effectively in fast-paced environments. Additionally, the role requires the management of governance deliverables including maintaining event calendars, risk and issue logs, executive readouts, and post-event reviews complete with key performance indicators (KPIs).
People development and leadership are also essential aspects of this role. The Events Manager will provide clear guidance and performance feedback to vendor personnel, driving accountability and maintaining high delivery standards. Analytical skills are critical, as the manager will be responsible for measuring event success through lead and pipeline metrics, conducting thorough debriefs, capturing lessons learned, and recommending actionable improvements for future event cycles.
Client and partner management responsibilities position this role as the primary contact for clients and distributor field personnel within the assigned market. The Events Manager must ensure that all event activities support broader client business objectives and marketing strategies, cultivating strong and trusted relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. Representing the agency and clients with confidence, professionalism, and clarity is fundamental to building long-lasting credibility in this role.
To excel as an Events Manager at TEAM, candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in marketing, event management, advertising, or related fields, along with a minimum of five years of event management experience, ideally within an experiential marketing agency environment. Proficiency with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, project management tools such as Asana or Smartsheet, and presentation design platforms is required. The role also requires experience with virtual desktop environments and the flexibility to travel within the designated market for client meetings, site visits, and event oversight. Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills, alongside strong client-facing communication capabilities, are essential to succeed in this fast-paced and rewarding position. TEAM values diversity and is an equal opportunity employer, encouraging all qualified applicants to apply and assuring reasonable accommodation for individuals with disabilities throughout the hiring process.
