Sebastiani, on the other hand, is recognized for hosting elegant weddings and sophisticated corporate events, complete with high-quality catering and event services. Together, these venues deliver exceptional service and unmatched event experiences, consistently exceeding client expectations in the Sonoma wine country region. They cater to diverse clientele seeking a blend of luxury, professionalism, and personalized attention for their special occasions.
The role of the Event Manager at MacArthur Place and Sebastiani is essential for ensuring the seamless execution of a variety of events, from intimate social celebrations to large-scale corporate gatherings. As a full-time position with an offered salary of $80,000, the Event Manager will be responsible for overseeing all phases of event planning and execution. This includes working closely with clients on menu planning, setting event agendas, and coordinating with hotel services to guarantee perfection in every detail. The Event Manager serves as the key liaison between the customer and hotel operations, ensuring that the event timing, layout, decor, staffing, and guest experience align perfectly with client expectations.
In this capacity, the Event Manager will manage logistics such as Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), billing, tastings, and site inspections, maximizing revenue through selling and upselling opportunities related to room rentals, food and beverage services, and other event enhancements. The role demands excellent communication skills, organizational ability, and strategic thinking to handle the dynamic demands of luxury event management. The Event Manager will also support internal programming and marketing events, contributing to the hotel's overall guest experience and operational success.
This position requires a professional who is adept at multitasking in fast-paced environments, has a proven track record in relationship-building to meet upselling goals, and possesses an intimate knowledge of local market trends and industry best practices. Flexibility in schedule, including the possibility of weekend work, is necessary to meet the diverse demands of the role. Ultimately, the Event Manager at MacArthur Place and Sebastiani plays a vital role in crafting memorable events that leave a lasting impression on guests and clients alike, supporting the venues' prestigious reputations and commitment to exceptional hospitality.
