Job Description

caa is a dynamic and fast-growing organization dedicated to delivering impactful business events, specializing in executive leadership summits across the United States. With a strong commitment to excellence, we host 18 executive leadership summits annually in key regions including the Northeast, Southeast, and Midwest. These events bring together top-level executives and sponsors to foster meaningful connections, collaboration, and knowledge exchange. Our company boasts a culture that values innovation, agility, and ownership, empowering employees to take initiative and lead with confidence. We invest heavily in our people through comprehensive training, development programs, and numerous opportunities for career growth. At caa, we believe that successful events are the foundation of the connection economy — creating environments where executives feel that everything runs effortlessly is a testament to the dedication and expertise of our team. We are proud to offer a remote work environment that provides flexibility, encourages a healthy work-life balance, and supports our employees' professional and personal needs. Our benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with a company match, competitive paid time off including birthday PTO, paid parental leave, early summer Fridays, mentorship from senior leaders, and a team member referral bonus. We are an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion, ensuring that all qualified candidates receive fair consideration regardless of their background or identity. Joining caa means becoming part of a forward-thinking team that values collaboration, creativity, and excellence in event management.

The role of Events Manager at caa is pivotal in executing the seamless delivery of our live executive summits. This is not a typical conference room position; it demands a proactive, hands-on professional who can manage the entire event lifecycle end-to-end. From planning and execution to post-event analysis, the Events Manager must ensure every summit runs smoothly without a detailed playbook. The successful candidate will manage all logistics, vendor and sponsor relationships, budgets, and onsite operations for up to 18 large-scale events per year, each hosting between 10 to 20 sponsors and as many as 400 attendees. They will oversee RSVP tracking, attendance campaigns, event materials, shipping, setup, and teardown for all caa-related event assets. Exceptional communication skills are essential, as they will collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Editorial, and Digital Marketing teams to maximize event impact. The role demands resilience and calm under pressure since handling unexpected challenges on event day is part of the job. This position offers a competitive salary range of $65,000 to $75,000 base with an on-target earnings potential of $75,000 to $85,000 annually. The Events Manager will be fully remote and must be willing to travel frequently throughout the year. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned event professional with 4 to 7 years of relevant experience and strong CRM proficiency, ideally with Zoho or similar platforms, to own the event experience from concept to completion while contributing to the growth and reputation of a high-impact organization.

Job Requirements

  • Previous full-time event ownership experience
  • Ability to travel frequently throughout the year
  • Effective organizational and multitasking skills
  • Strong vendor and sponsor management experience
  • Proficiency in using CRM platforms for event management
  • Ability to write clear, crisp emails
  • Capability to work independently in a remote environment

Job Qualifications

  • 4-7 years of event management experience
  • Proficiency with CRM software such as Zoho, with at least 3 years of usage
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and remain calm under pressure
  • Experience coordinating large-scale events with multiple stakeholders
  • Comfortable handling onsite event operations including registration and setup
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

Job Duties

  • Plan and execute 18 executive summits a year with 10-20 sponsors and up to 400 attendees
  • Manage vendor, venue, and sponsor relationships from contract through breakdown
  • Own RSVP tracking, attendance campaigns, and all event materials
  • Coordinate shipping, setup, and breakdown of all caa materials at each event
  • Run the registration desk and ensure smooth operation on event day
  • Partner with Sales, Editorial, and Digital Marketing teams on event lead-up
  • Address and resolve issues promptly to maintain event quality
