  • demonstrated interest in athletic event supervision
  • ability to communicate effectively
  • ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • ability to lift and/or move more than 50 pounds occasionally
  • ability to maintain emotional control under stress
  • availability for attending all scheduled games
  • ability to comply with district and state athletic policies
  • ability to supervise event staff

  • demonstrated interest in and aptitude for performing athletic event responsibilities
  • ability to read and interpret safety rules and instructions
  • ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • ability to speak effectively before groups
  • basic mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
  • ability to compute rate, ratio, percent and interpret bar graphs
  • ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions
  • ability to deal with problems involving several variables in standardized situations

Job Duties

  • Administers and directs interscholastic athletic events on assigned campus
  • promotes good sportsmanship and student development
  • attends every regularly scheduled 7th or 8th grade game
  • manages school hosted athletic events by directing ticket sales, supervising game workers, coordinating security, and ensuring preparation of facilities
  • assists Athletic Coordinator in coordinating the use of all athletic facilities during after school hours
  • implements and enforces all district and state game policies during athletic events
  • oversees all athletic events on assigned campus
  • supervises all game workers including ticket sellers, ticket takers, security, and announcers
