Job Description

Our company is an innovative organization located near Fort Lauderdale, FL, known for its commitment to excellence and growth in various dynamic industries, including technology, public safety, agriculture, and facilities management. As a hybrid onsite employer, we provide a collaborative and flexible work environment that fosters both teamwork and individual initiative. We pride ourselves on hosting high-profile events and participating in key industry engagements to enhance our brand presence and business growth.

We are currently seeking a dedicated Events Manager to join our team in a full-time, direct hire capacity. This pivotal role requires a unique blend of strategic oversight and hands-on execution. The successful candidate will lead the planning, coordination, and flawless execution of the company’s diverse events portfolio, which includes a flagship annual event, industry trade shows, partner events, and roadshows across multiple cities. This role demands a proactive, detail-oriented professional who excels in managing multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring that every event embodies professionalism, accuracy, and strong brand consistency.

The Events Manager will be responsible for comprehensive event management—from initial concept through to post-event analysis and continuous process improvement. This involves end-to-end oversight of event logistics, vendor and partner coordination, internal team alignment, and ensuring readiness for on-site delivery. Additionally, the role entails collaborating closely with the internal marketing team to promote events effectively through multiple channels, including email marketing, social media, website updates, paid media, and event-specific landing pages.

Beyond event management, this position also emphasizes budget tracking and performance evaluation. The manager will monitor event expenses, revenue generation, attendee growth, lead acquisition, pipeline influence, and overall return on investment (ROI), using these insights to drive future event strategy and operational enhancements. By building scalable event processes and documentation, the Events Manager will contribute to the company’s evolving operational framework, ensuring robust event management practices that adapt to the fast-paced environment of a growing organization.

This role offers a compelling opportunity for a seasoned events professional who is comfortable navigating ambiguity and making swift decisions with limited information. It requires collaboration with diverse teams, including sales, technical staff, vendors, partners, and marketing professionals, ensuring a seamless event experience and maximum strategic impact. The position also requires willingness to travel approximately 20% of the time to support on-site events and roadshows.

Joining our team means becoming part of a forward-thinking company that values innovation, teamwork, and a proactive approach to business challenges and opportunities. If you possess the experience and drive to lead sophisticated event programs and thrive in a vibrant, evolving work environment, we invite you to consider this exceptional career opportunity as an Events Manager based near Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
