Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 1-2 years experience in event management or related area OR 2-year degree from an accredited university in hotel and restaurant management, hospitality, business administration, or related major
- At least 1 year experience in event management or related area
- Ability to manage events of average complexity
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Effective communication abilities
- Willingness to work full-time at San Francisco Marriott Union Square
- Availability to engage with customers throughout the event process
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED with 1-2 years of event management experience
- OR 2-year degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major with at least 1 year of event management experience
- Proven ability to manage event logistics and coordinate with multiple departments
- Strong communication skills for effective liaison with sales teams and clients
- Demonstrated customer service orientation and problem-solving skills
- Experience in leading teams through event execution phases
- Capability in revenue forecasting and upselling techniques
