Catering to a diverse membership base, Broken Sound Club offers a wide range of social, sporting, and dining opportunities within a sophisticated and welcoming environment. The club prides itself on upholding high standards of hospitality, service excellence, and community spirit. Established to provide a comprehensive lifestyle experience, Broken Sound Club seamlessly combines world-class facilities with top-tier service and a rich calendar of events designed to engage and delight its members.

The Club Event Manager role at Broken Sound Club is a full-time position offering a competitive salary reflective of the candidate's experience. This role is critical in planning, executing, and coordinating a broad spectrum of club events, including social gatherings, private parties, and sporting events. The position demands a detail-oriented and highly organized event professional with significant experience in food and beverage operations, event coordination, and team leadership within upscale environments such as private clubs, resorts, or luxury hospitality venues. The Club Event Manager acts as a pivotal liaison between various departments, including culinary, facilities, sports, and club leadership, to ensure each event is executed flawlessly and meets the club's strict standards. A flexible schedule is a must, as the manager will frequently work weekends and holidays to support event schedules.

This position expects a proactive leader who thrives on collaboration and effective communication. Key responsibilities include creating and managing banquet event orders (BEOs), coordinating event logistics, maintaining high service standards during events, and collecting member feedback for continuous improvement. The manager also supervises event personnel, from pre-event briefings to hands-on leadership during events, ensuring that every detail aligns with the club's traditions and operational policies.

Beyond operational oversight, the Club Event Manager contributes to budget planning and financial review processes to align event execution with the club's fiscal goals. This role also champions a member-centric approach by cultivating strong relationships with members, anticipating their needs, and fostering an inviting and engaging atmosphere at all events. Leadership includes training and mentoring team members to maintain excellence in service and presentation, supporting the club's ongoing growth and reputation.

Candidates must possess at least 2-3 years of event or catering management experience, preferably in a private club, resort, or high-end hospitality setting. Essential skills include leadership, multitasking, communication, problem-solving, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and event management software. Educational requirements include a high school diploma or GED, with a bachelor's degree in Hospitality or Event Management preferred. Additionally, beverage service certification or eligibility to obtain one (such as Serve Safe, TIPS, or CARE) is required.

Broken Sound Club offers a comprehensive benefits package to full-time employees, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, company-paid life and disability insurance, a 401(k) retirement plan with company match, educational assistance, paid time off, holiday pay, complementary shift meals, associate discounts, and well-being programs like counseling and legal assistance. The club fosters a supportive, respectful, and accountable culture where interactive communication is valued, empowering employees to contribute ideas and feedback actively. This environment promotes collaboration, trust, innovation, and collective success.

Joining Broken Sound Club means becoming part of a vibrant family committed to exceptional service, tradition, and community spirit. The club maintains a drug-free workplace and encourages qualified candidates ready to contribute to its distinguished culture to apply. This role presents an exciting opportunity to grow professionally while making a meaningful impact on the member experience at one of South Florida's leading private clubs.
