Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in event management, particularly with C-suite audiences
  • Proven track record of managing end-to-end event programs
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Willingness to travel 10-20%
  • Proficiency with event management software and tools
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities

Job Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience designing and executing high-end events for C-suite level audiences
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Familiarity with corporate communications, government relations, and public affairs
  • Emotional intelligence and gravitas to interact with C-suite-level stakeholders
  • Ability to project-manage multiple high-stakes workstreams
  • Experience in a fast-paced and unstructured environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Job Duties

  • Build and run high-end C-suite events programs from start to finish, recruiting attendees, selecting and managing vendors, sending out invitations, handling follow-ups
  • Build and amplify Applecart's brand image as the strategic partner of choice for target Fortune 500 clients, specifically Chief Corporate Affairs Officers, Chief Communications Officers, Heads of Government Relations, Investor Relations Officers
  • Build on existing Applecart programs including salon dinners, conferences, panels, and develop new events opportunities
  • Engage a C-suite audience, commanding attention amidst competing priorities
  • Manage event logistics including budgeting, venue selection, vendor negotiations, and attendee communications
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product teams to align events with broader company goals
  • Travel 10-20% to attend and manage events
