Job Description
Peach Bowl, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) organization that owns and operates the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl Game, the Aflac Kickoff Games, the Southern Company Peach Bowl Challenge golf tournament, and manages the Dodd Trophy presented by PNC. The Events Manager position will be responsible for overseeing the volunteer program, team hotels, band/spirit liaison, hospitality rooms, hotel events/activities and security, uniforms, and producing additional events and providing support as needed. The primary responsibility is with volunteer initiatives including recruitment, development, and management.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- minimum of five (5) years event management experience and minimum one (1) year supervisory experience
- excellent oral and written communication skills
- complete knowledge of Microsoft applications including MS Windows, Power Point, and Excel
- experience with The Registration System or similar volunteer database system a plus
- ability to work long hours, weekends, and holidays as needed
- extensive walking, lifting, and physical demands on event and preparation days
