Job Description
Responsible for preparing all event documentation and coordinating with Sales, property departments, and customers to ensure consistent, high-level service throughout pre-event, event, and post-event phases of property events. This position primarily handles events of average complexity and maximizes revenue opportunities by up-selling and offering enhancements to create outstanding events.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- 1-2 years of experience in event management or related professional area
- OR 2-year degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major
- at least 1 year experience in event management or related professional area required. Ability to manage event logistics, operations, and provide exceptional customer service. Experience in leading event management teams and coordinating with sales and marketing functions. Strong human resources skills in conducting HR activities and improving service performance. Salary range: $62,000 to $80,000 annually.
