Job Description

Novant Health is a leading integrated healthcare system dedicated to improving the health and well-being of the communities it serves. Known for its compassionate patient care, innovative solutions, and community engagement, Novant Health operates a network of hospitals, outpatient centers, and mobile medical units that expand access to essential healthcare services. This organization prioritizes inclusivity, teamwork, and continuous growth, fostering an environment where employees are respected, supported, and encouraged to contribute their full potential. Novant Health's commitment to excellence is reflected in its focus on compassionate care and creating lasting impacts on community health outcomes.

The Events Liaison, Mobile, position at Novant Health plays a pivotal role in supporting the system's community engagement efforts by managing and operating a mobile medical unit across various locations. This role is designed to enhance outreach initiatives by bringing healthcare services directly to diverse community settings through the mobile unit. The position is essential for coordinating and executing event logistics, communicating effectively with clinical teams, event partners, and leadership to ensure successful event delivery. The Events Liaison also handles accurate patient documentation using EPIC and other systems, ensuring compliance with health policies and patient confidentiality. This is a PRN/on-call role, meaning the employee will work events as needed, offering flexibility but requiring reliability and professionalism. The role demands strong organizational skills, the ability to work independently with minimal oversight, and excellent interpersonal capabilities to serve as a professional representative of Novant Health in the community.

This job opportunity is ideal for individuals who are passionate about community health, have experience driving large mobile units, and who enjoy dynamic work environments that require travel and engagement with diverse populations. The Events Liaison contributes directly to the mission of Novant Health by facilitating access to healthcare services in non-traditional settings, thereby expanding the reach and impact of the organization’s community health programs. With a focus on teamwork, communication, and excellence, the role supports seamless event execution and fosters meaningful connections with patients and partners. The position requires a commitment to the values of respect, accountability, motivation, and professionalism that define Novant Health’s culture. Working in this capacity offers an opportunity to grow within a respected healthcare system while making a tangible difference in community health engagement and outcomes.
