Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- 2-3 years of related cook experience
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings
- strong communication and leadership skills
- proficiency in multiple kitchen stations
- excellent knife skills
- ability to work under pressure
- ability to manage a team effectively
- understanding of sanitation standards and compliance
- physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle kitchen equipment

Job Duties
- work in a clean, organized, and efficient manner in a high-pressure environment
- have experience on multiple stations in the kitchen
- ensure that food portions and food presentation meets events standards
- have excellent knife skills and proficiency in all aspects of cooking
- assist the culinary management team with food preparation as assigned
- maintain a working knowledge of food preparation for standard menu items
- maintain a clean work environment, including floors and passages
- clean kitchen and equipment as assigned by the culinary management team
- assist in keeping all food storage areas, refrigerators, freezers, etc. clean and organized
- assist with unloading of deliveries
- manage a team of 15 or more kitchen assistances
- work closely with event captain to create a positive client experience
- ensure sanitation standards meet city compliance
- work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors
- assist with set-up and cleaning operational areas
