The role of Events Coordinator at Life Time is a dynamic and integral position within the Events and Corporate Communications team, focused on supporting adult sports programming such as Squash, Racquetball, Pickleball, and UHoops. This role provides logistical and tactical support to ensure that all adult sports events and programs run smoothly and successfully, reflecting Life Time's Mission and Vision. The coordinator not only manages event logistics but also plays a key part in member retention by delivering exceptional service and creating engaging experiences for members and potential members. Responsibilities also include collaboration with internal teams and external vendors, project management for event marketing campaigns, and active promotion of club events to enhance participation and satisfaction. This position demands strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills, with an emphasis on attention to detail and a passion for delivering outstanding member experiences. The Events Coordinator contributes significantly to the club's vibrant atmosphere and the overall success of its sports and event programs, making it an exciting opportunity for those who thrive in fast-paced, community-oriented environments.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1 to 2 years of experience coordinating corporate or retail event programs
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office software
  • CPR and AED certified
  • Ability to travel as required

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or communications or equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • Extensive knowledge of all club activities and promotions
  • Excellent customer service and promotional skills
  • Ability to build relationships with members
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office software
  • CPR and AED certified

Job Duties

  • Coordinates Life Time in-center event logistics by collaborating with internal audiences and coordinating external vendors
  • Delivers desired event results by providing documentation and reporting specific event measurables
  • Provides project management support for club event marketing campaigns
  • Engages with members and non-members to promote club events and adult programs
