Job Description
Odo Social is an innovative and vibrant social club that is revolutionizing the way people connect and experience events. Positioned at the intersection of lifestyle and entertainment, Odo Social goes beyond traditional event hosting to build a dynamic social movement. They specialize in creating unique, elite social experiences like speed dating events, Pilates sessions coupled with Prosecco, and other curated happenings designed to cultivate a community of engaged and enthusiastic participants. Odo Social's mission is to elevate social gatherings into memorable, buzz-worthy occasions that make people eager to be part of the brand's exclusive happenings.
The company prides itself on creating what they call "curated chaos" and "elite vibes only," emphasizing high-quality, well-planned events that stand out in the crowded social scene. This approach has positioned Odo Social as a social brand that captivates attention and fosters a sense of belonging and excitement around its events. The team behind Odo Social is passionate about building not just events but a movement that makes their community feel special and invites continuous engagement and growth.
The role of Events Coordinator Intern at Odo Social is tailored for motivated individuals seeking real-world marketing and events planning experience, far beyond the usual intern coffee runs. This internship offers invaluable exposure to the fast-paced environment of a growing startup focused on lifestyle branding. As an Events Coordinator Intern, you will be instrumental in scouting venues, planning and pitching new event ideas, managing vendor relationships, and helping the brand expand its event offerings beyond current favorites like Speed Dating and Pilates & Prosecco.
Moreover, this role blends event management with digital marketing responsibilities. The intern will work on elevating Odo Social’s social media presence by creating, scheduling, and brainstorming content aimed at increasing online community engagement. In addition, you’ll get hands-on experience in securing brand partnerships by reaching out to potential sponsors in sectors such as drinks, wellness, and fashion. This includes pitching collaborations and negotiating perks and freebies that enhance event offerings.
Communication skills are key for this position. You will be responsible for coordinating emails with vendors, drafting recaps and thank-you notes, and supporting email marketing campaigns to maintain an organized and professional yet fun brand voice. This internship offers direct access to the founder, enabling mentorship and the opportunity to contribute meaningful work that can be portfolio-worthy.
Odo Social is looking for interns who are marketing, communications, or business students ready to take initiative, embrace challenges, and bring a proactive, "I can build this into something big" energy. This is not a passive role but rather a chance to actively help build and grow a brand that is shaping the future of social clubs. If you are passionate about events, branding, and social media, and want to gain invaluable startup experience while making a tangible impact, this internship is an ideal fit.
