The company offers a welcoming and inclusive workplace that embraces diversity and equal opportunity, providing employees with a supportive environment to grow professionally and take pride in their roles within one of the world’s leading luxury hotel brands.

The Meet Group Coordinator/Host(ess) role at The Ritz-Carlton is central to ensuring the flawless coordination and execution of banquet events, a critical segment of the hotel’s luxury hospitality services. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a strong foundation in hospitality to guarantee that every function meets the exacting standards expected by The Ritz-Carlton. The role involves meeting with group coordinators or hosts prior to events to make introductions and confirm all arrangements, including banquet event orders that detail guest needs. The Meet Group Coordinator/Host(ess) must promptly report any accidents or unsafe conditions and complete all mandatory safety trainings and certifications. Personal presentation and professional appearance are essential, alongside maintaining the confidentiality of proprietary information and protecting company assets. Excellent interpersonal communication skills are also critical to this role, as welcoming guests and anticipating service needs contribute significantly to the luxury experience. This role encourages teamwork and supporting common goals related to quality assurance, event inspections, and handling equipment and tools used in event setups.

Physical demands of the job include the ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and to safely move and handle objects weighing up to 25 pounds. Navigating through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces, as well as uneven or slippery surfaces and stairs, is also required. Flexibility and willingness to perform reasonable additional duties as requested by supervisors are valued qualities for this position. Joining The Ritz-Carlton team means committing to a standard of excellence in luxury hospitality and becoming part of an organization that deeply values its associates' development and success.
