Job Description

Allegis Global Solutions (AGS) is a leading global talent solutions provider, specializing in delivering comprehensive workforce management services to some of the most well-known companies worldwide. As a trusted partner, AGS works closely with clients to source, manage, and enable talent in a flexible and efficient manner. Through strategic partnerships and advanced technologies, the company streamlines the recruitment and staffing process to meet the evolving demands of today’s dynamic business environments.

This particular contract opportunity is to provide services for Microsoft, one of the top multinational technology corporations recognized for its innovative products, software solutions, and global impact. Although the selected candidate will work closely with Microsoft teams, employment will be directly through AGS, ensuring a collaborative partnership that drives business success and operational efficiency.

The role of Events Coordinator is a contract position based onsite in Redmond, WA, requiring approximately 40 hours per week over a 3-month assignment. The hourly compensation ranges from $26 to $29.50, reflecting a competitive wage for a key operational role supporting employee engagement programs.

As an Events Coordinator, you will play a vital part in enhancing employee experience by providing comprehensive operational and logistical support. You will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth planning and execution of engagement activities, events, and organizational initiatives that foster collaboration and strengthen workplace culture. Your role goes beyond administrative support by acting as a central liaison between stakeholders, vendors, and internal teams. Precision in managing schedules, coordinating communications, and handling vendor contracts will be crucial to your success in this role.

The position demands exceptional organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously within a fast-paced, corporate environment. The work requires a proactive mindset; you will anticipate the needs of your team, manage budget tracking and reconciliation, and provide timely updates to leadership to support data-driven decision making. Additionally, you will prepare materials necessary for presentations and meetings, contributing to the overall success of employee engagement initiatives.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives behind the scenes, supporting teams to execute strategic initiatives seamlessly. You will be expected to engage hands-on during event execution, ensuring all logistical components are synchronized and any issues are swiftly resolved. Your efforts will have a direct impact on maintaining a positive organizational culture and promoting strong internal connections that align with Microsoft’s values and goals.

Successful candidates will exhibit excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, and OneNote. Familiarity with collaboration platforms such as SharePoint is also advantageous. Experience in vendor management and negotiation is necessary, alongside a capability to manage budgets and financial documentation responsibly.

In summary, this is a rewarding contract role that offers an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to employee engagement and operational excellence within a prestigious technology environment. If you are detail-oriented, enjoy managing complex logistics, and take pride in enabling teams to succeed through effective coordination, this role will provide a dynamic and impactful work experience.
