Job Requirements

  • High school diploma required
  • 1 or more years experience as an event coordinator or similar role
  • Three years of additional office experience preferred
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with Excel spreadsheet development
  • Understanding of basic database management and query concepts
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred
  • Practicing Catholic with knowledge of Church practices preferred

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in event management, hospitality, or related field preferred
  • 1 or more years experience as an event coordinator or similar role
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and database management
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred
  • Knowledge of Church practices preferred

Job Duties

  • Plan and execute events for all ministries in the CSR office
  • Provide administrative support for ministry office programs and services
  • Manage financial records of the office
  • Participate in staff meetings and meetings with other offices
  • Coordinate with vendors, sponsors, and other stakeholders
  • Manage event budgets and timelines
  • Assist with creation and promotion of event marketing materials
  • Coordinate event logistics including venue, catering, and audio/visual equipment
  • Manage event registration and attendee communication
  • Provide on-site event support and troubleshoot issues
