Job Description

Life Teen is a Eucharist-centered movement within the Roman Catholic Church dedicated to leading teenagers and their families into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ and His Church. Emphasizing the intercession and guidance of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Life Teen aims to unlock the fullness of the Sacramental power present within the young Church. Founded with a mission to serve youth ministry leaders and parishes globally, Life Teen has established itself as a renowned ministry committed to the spiritual growth and development of young people through engaging events, retreats, and training programs. Their focus on faith formation is integral to nurturing a vibrant and active youth community, fostering connections among teenagers, families, and church leaders alike.

The organization operates primarily through orchestrating a wide range of events including conferences, retreats, and training sessions for youth ministry leaders and participants worldwide. Life Teen’s events are designed not only to educate and equip ministry leaders but also to create transformational experiences that inspire teens and support church communities. As a full-time event coordinator based in Atlanta, GA, the successful candidate will become part of Life Teen’s dynamic team, working in close collaboration with the Associate Director of Events and Operations to manage every aspect of event planning and execution.

The Event Coordinator role is crucial for the seamless operation of Life Teen’s events and ministries. This position demands a detail-oriented and hospitality-driven individual who takes pride in managing logistics and fostering an enriching atmosphere at events. Responsibilities include scheduling, coordinating travel arrangements for speakers and guests, overseeing event logistics such as catering and volunteer management, and maintaining communications with all involved parties. The role also involves developing promotional strategies alongside the marketing team to increase attendance and engagement.

In addition to operational tasks, the Event Coordinator will be responsible for documenting event outcomes and collecting feedback to continuously improve the quality and impact of Life Teen’s programming. Administrative duties such as managing paperwork, coding receipts, handling invoices, and becoming proficient in platforms like Cvent and Salesforce are also part of the role. A strong emphasis is placed on providing exceptional customer service, ensuring professional and hospitable interactions with guests, staff, and attendees. Participation in weekly spiritual activities such as Holy Hours, office Masses, and staff retreats reflects Life Teen's commitment to an integrated faith and work environment.

Life Teen seeks applicants with 0-2 years of experience and an undergraduate degree, highlighting a commitment to early career professionals eager to make an impact in the non-profit religious sector. This is a full-time salaried position that offers the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to youth ministry on a global scale while working in a supportive and mission-driven team environment.
