Job Requirements

Ability to remain standing for long periods
Ability to move throughout the store
Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching
Ability to lift heavy boxes and access high shelves using ladders or similar equipment
Experience handling job stress and interacting effectively with guests and coworkers
Ability to perform physical activities including sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and restroom maintenance
Must satisfy federal, state, and local legal requirements for the job
Availability to work nights, weekends, and early mornings
Must be able to comply with company safety policies and procedures

Organizational, interpersonal, and creative problem-solving skills
Retail and/or customer service experience

Job Duties

Plan and coordinate multiple events at once including children's birthday parties and other craft classes or events
Engage with clients of all ages by creating an environment of fun and creativity
Demonstrate and instruct party participants in the completion of craft projects and perform activities such as face painting
Facilitate and implement party add-ons such as goody bags and balloons to company standards
Communicate events with clients and store team members
Complete administrative tasks such as answering emails, making phone calls, and completing paperwork
Adjust plans and events based on client's feedback and needs
Create backup or emergency plans for events
Ensure client satisfaction for scheduled events
Uphold cleanliness and safety standards before and after events
Help customers shop and locate products
Provide fast and friendly checkout experience
Engage customers on benefits of Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments
Educate customers on Voice of Customer survey
Assist with Omni channel processes including Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store
Participate in truck unload, stocking and planogram processes
Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance
Perform Store in Stock Optimization and AD set duties
Support shrink and safety programs
Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures and company policies
Interact respectfully with others and project a positive image
Cross train in Custom Framing selling and production
Participate in daily store cleanliness activities
